These pieces are varied in size, subject and media. As an art teacher, I often work with different mediums.
I included a few experiments with water soluble oils below, as well as watercolor and colored pencil images. Additionally, I included my husband’s request; a large painting of the late guitarist, Stevie Ray Vaughan. The
Dice painting was for my son. The blue-green pattern in the abstract image is a magnified view of the toxin found in resins and disinfectants. Oddly, it was beautiful! Also included here are a few detail images of pieces I did as a tribute to my father. He was a fabulous gardener and instilled in me a love of nature. I planted a pear tree in
his honor and always add sunflowers to my vegetable garden because they were his favorite.
